so the dark feels less dangerous
and the pain feels less pointless?

when the world stopped paying attention?

or am I whispering into empty air

I want the truth. Do you hear me?

Why do You let the good people suffer
for battles they never asked to fight?

with wounds they didn’t earn?

dreams collapse,
and hearts shatter

why does life hurt this much?
& if the Bible is the truth, 
Does that mean, I truly can’t cuss?
