No lanterns shine, just shadows, in the gloom and the shade

Hold fast, brave hearts, to the dying light

The demon's wrath will swallow the night

Voices lost in the roaring deep

No dreams remain, no ship to keep

Roll, brave ships, into the frightful swell

The beast’s maw opens where the mysteries dwell

Screams echo across the endless gale

Darkness reigns where hope did sail
