Healing in Faith

Yeah, I hide the pain inside, but I’m still standing tall,

No one sees the tears I cry, behind this brave wall.

When you see me, think I’m okay, I wear a smile that’s fake,

But inside, I’m hurting deep, my soul begins to ache.

I hold my pain, I hide my tears, I try to be so strong,

But sometimes the weight gets too heavy, and I wonder where I belong.

And I pray, oh I pray, for strength to get through,

Got faith in something higher, I know He’ll see me through.

God is the healer, the comfort, the guide,

He’s the one I lean on when I’m losing my mind.

Holding on to hope, holding on with all my might,

Through the darkest nights, I believe in the light.

My daughter by my side, she’s my reason to fight,

Together we face the storm, making everything right.

The load’s so heavy, but with her near, I find the strength to stay,

Working every day to keep the clouds away.
