Mercy, guidance, transformation

In shadows deep the righteous soul may tread

A heavy heart, a weary burdened head

The world may throw its darts with cruelest aim

And whisper doubts to fan the flickering flame

But hold your course let courage be your guide

Though trials mount like waves on every side

For even in the darkest deepest night

A spark of hope ignites a holy light

Though many wounds may pierce the faithful breast

And sorrows rob the spirit of its rest

The Lord is near a refuge in despair

He lifts the fallen with a tender care

From every snare His hand will set you free

He breaks the chains and grants you liberty

So trust in Him let faith your armor be

And find deliverance for eternity

As we walk where we belong

Not to judge but to embrace

Showing Jesus' loving grace

In His name we'll rise and see

The beauty of humanity

Meeting hearts where they reside

In His love we all abide

We see the broken lost in shadowed ways

Quick to condemn in judgment's blinding haze

But grace reminds us we're all stained within

Yet mercy's offered washing clean from sin

Instead of stones let's reach a helping hand

Walk in their shoes and try to understand

For every heart a story left untold

A chance to heal a future to unfold

God places us as beacons in the night

To guide the weary towards His saving light

Forget the pride that builds dividing walls

Embrace compassion answering His calls

Let's meet them where they are with open hearts

Plant seeds of love and play our humble parts

That all may see the Savior's gentle face

And find redemption in His warm embrace

Guide us Lord with gentle hand

To share Your love throughout the land

Open our eyes and fill our hearts

To play in life our humble parts

That all may know Your saving grace

And find redemption in this place

In Jesus' name we'll testify

Of hope and love that will never die

Forgive us, Lord, for eyes that quickly see

The flaws in others, blind to our decree

We cast our stones, forgetting we're the same

Lost in the darkness, needing grace to claim

Remind us, Lord, that every soul's in need

A broken vessel, longing to be freed

To see through eyes of love, a clearer view

And offer hope, as grace is offered new

Lead us to meet them where their spirits dwell

To share the story that we know so well

Of Jesus' love, a beacon in the night

A guiding star, to lead them to His light

May our compassion be a gentle guide

To show them mercy, with nothing to hide

That they may find redemption in His name

And know the peace that sets the captive free from shame

From judgment's chains set us free

To see with eyes of empathy

Transform our hearts renew our minds

To leave the world of hate behind

In every soul a spark divine

A chance to heal a chance to shine

Let's meet them there with love so true

And lead them to the light of You

Please forgive us for being judgemental. Help us remember that we are all sinners, and we must meet people where they are so we may tell them about Jesus. In Jesus' Name, Amen
