Glass Horizon

Waves of light, edges thin,

A fragile world begins to spin.

Mirrors bend where the water sleeps,

Holding every soul it keeps.

I walk where sky and ocean meet,

Beneath my steps, the glass will creak.

Every ripple, a memory’s face,

Every fracture, a time and place.

The wind hums low, the tide pulls near,

I see my life in crystal clear.

Glass horizon, shatter wide,

Flood the dream on either side.

Every truth the waves have known,

Breaking through this fragile dome.

The surface cracks beneath the weight,

The tides return what they create.

Shards of light cut through my skin,

Every wound pulls deeper in.
