Rocket to the Stars

In the depths where the shadows dwell,

Awoke from dreams in a fragile shell,

Five months lost in the ocean"s embrace,

Building my way to a heavenly place.

Life pod floating in a sea of stars,

Counting echoes of the lives that are far,

From the wreckage, I rise, with tools in my hands,

Dreaming of breakin" free from these alien lands.

Underwater whispers sing songs of despair,

But I won’t be lost, I’ll rise from the lair,

Charting my course with steel and with fire,

My heart’s on the edge, fueled by desire.

Carving my way to the pale moonlight,

But the skies will darken, as a shadow comes down,

Quarantine forces won"t let me rebound.

But the flame ignites, in this solitude,

I’ll turn off the chains of this darker mood,

Working the circuits, I’m less of a ghost,

Fear won’t defeat me, I’m ready to boast.
