Trials hit like thunder loud and bold
Lost it all but i ain't fold
Jobe stood firm while the story was told
A faith stronger than diamonds or gold 
Friends came judging throwing shade all day
Saying you must have strayed from the way
Even when the darkness begged him to stray
Jobe chose to hold to the light and pray
Lost cattle lost sons lost the gain 
But his faith never wavered through the pain 
Through the ashes and the pouring rain
He found purpose he'd see the sun again
The devil bet high he would break and curse
Jobe proved wrong made the test reverse
In his suffering he found the verse
A comeback stronger than the universe 
When the storms rage I'll still stand tall
Through the test yeah I'll take it all
Keep the faith even when I fall
Jobe’s story says rise after the crawl
Through the ashes Jobe would roam
Lost his crops and lost his home
Friends said sin brought all the cries
He just looked up and asked the skies 
Boils on skin and heart replaced
Hope felt gone but faith he chased 
Satan tested yet he rose 
Breaking chains that life imposed
A storm will test the strongest heart 
Every treasure torn apart
But in the rubble he could see
The truth in love's eternity 
When the rain fell down in streams
Jobe still clung to every dream 
Lost his all but would not break
Faiths a fire no trial can break
Why me oh lord what's the plan
Trying to stand where no one can
But still i lift my voice and stay
Waiting for that brighter day
