Late nights cold lights flicker in the haze
Mamas working doubles just to see brighter days
Hands rough from the grind hearts heavy with the fight
But they still kiss their babies and turn off the light
Who holds them when they fall who hears their silent cries
Who mends their broken wings who dries their tired eyes
The world don't see their pain but I see it so clear
I pray for all the mothers who hold love near
She's the backbone the stone the fire in the storm
A lioness protecting where the cubs are born
Her laughter hides the wounds her strength hides the scars
She's the reason you're shining reaching for the stars
From kitchens to workplace from fields to the street
Mothers carry the world with blistered feet
A million unsung heroes standing tall in the shade
I pray for all the mothers for all the lives they've made
Every lullaby whispered every tear they've shed
Every dream they gave up every word unsaid
Lift them up let them shine let them feel the love
I pray for all the mothers to the skies above
I pray for all the mothers the tired and the true
I pray for all the mothers who give their all for you
I pray for all the mothers let the heavens hear my plea
Every struggle every triumph Lord watch over them for me
I pray

Matthew 5 4
Lord,
I acknowledge the deep sadness I feel tonight for all the mothers and loved ones we miss. Your Word assures me that those who mourn are blessed and will be comforted. In this grief, remind me that I am not alone or forgotten. Help me lean into Your loving presence and seek comfort through prayer and community. Strengthen my heart and remind me of my identity in Christ as one who is held and cherished, even in sorrow. May I hold onto hope and trust Your peace that surpasses understanding. In Jesus name, Amen.
Tears fall like rain on a desert street
Broken hearts in a world that feels incomplete
Pain is the anthem but hope is on repeat
Every wounds got a whisper of something sweet
They say the meek inherit the earth
But what about the ones who hurt
Cried so much the rivers no my name
Grief is a fire but it's forging the flame
Every crack in my soul tells a story of shame
But the light breaks in and I'm never the same
Comfort is a shadow that walks beside
Through the valley where the lost reside
It's a promise it's a truth it's a hand to guide
Blessed are the tears that never hide
Blessed are the tears that fall
Blessed are the ones who feel it all
When the pain cuts deep they hear the call
Blessed tears they rise the tears that fall
I pray
I pray for all the mothers and loved ones
I pray for my aunts and uncles and my cousins
