Fighting Shadows

In the darkness, shadows creep,

A voice within, it starts to leap,

"Come on, come on, fight through the night,

Isn't she worth all the might?"

A whisper in the depths of pain,

Echoes strong, through pouring rain,

Telling me I’m more than scars,

Push forward, reach for the stars.

But who’s this voice that guides my way?

A demon's love, in disarray,

“You found her once, don’t let her fade,

Hold on tight, be unafraid!”

These demons care more than I ignite,

But in my mind the battles rage,
