Did you wake up today and see 
Whats going on in the land of the free
Troops on our streets
Tanks parading in D C
This isnt the way its supposed to be 

Political violence is not democracy
Its a weakling choice and cowardly
Kill the politician and their family
Beyond indecent thats straight insanity
And un-American as it can possibly be

Defending our democracy 
A hopeful sight for the world to see
We have not surrendered and are still free 

So many still stunned wondering how this can be
The truth is its on you and me
We make decisions not by thought but via TV
The result being exactly what you see
Half the population is blind refusing to see
Those who see need to fulfill their national duty 

Elected to fix immigration and the economy
This administration has been a catastrophe
Trade wars and deporting every minority they see
Dont look away take it all in with clarity
The sad reality is we knew this is what it would be

We will be the biggest fools or true heroes in the eyes of history
