Chains of Faith

In this cell, the nights are long,

I find my faith, I hum a song.

Behind these walls of lonely gray,

I've lost my way, I've gone astray.

But there's a whisper in the dark,

A flicker, a flame—a hopeful spark.

My heart is heavy, my soul feels thin,

But I know He’s waiting to take me in.

With every prayer, I breathe His name,

In this prison, I seek His grace and fame.

Searching for a sign, a way to restore.

I've seen the light break through the bars,

I hear the choir of angels sing,

Each trial faced, it's a lesson learned,

In this fire, my heart has burned.
