[short instrumental intro]
[male spoken word]
It’s a shame really, when someone gives up so much of their self, they end up with nothing left to give to themselves. These selfless people end up giving so much it turns selfish. It becomes selfish because they make sure someone else’s well being is better than their own just to feel happier. These people get labeled as a “good listener”, a “good person”, a “kind soul”, and yet they are the first to be pushed aside when they are felt to be no longer effective. And when they are alone? Well, they feel worthless, unneeded, and empty since they poured so much time and energy into something that didn’t last forever. Every terrible, over thunk, self deprecating thought appears to have been the truth the entire time. And now, they only have themselves to care about and they feel they aren’t allowed. They feel inadequate, unworthy, and selfish to care about themselves. It’s a shame, really, because these people are the most healing souls but they feel they cant, and aren’t allowed to heal themselves. They ponder life, love, and happiness until it drives them into complete isolation, from the world, from life, and from love. However, the strong ones will find a way to rebuild their mind, their heart, and their soul. And when the healing is complete and when they least expect it, life will start to fall in place. Endings lead to beginnings, loss turns to love, and the death of their old self becomes their resurrection. Please help this lost soul. We bury them today with a heavy heart, they will lay in their coffin until the day life, love, and happiness resurrects them from their grave.
