Frankenstein's Heart

In the shadows I crawl, stitched through the night,

A heart that's silent, in a world devoid of light.

Fragments of the past, memories like scars,

Lost in the echoes, no guide, just the stars.

A body made of sorrow, pieced with despair,

Crafted from the remnants of a life stripped bare.

I walk this cold earth with a ghost in my chest,

But who can feel the burden when you're deemed the unrest?

Skin so pale, it glows under the moon,

I scream for the living, but I'm lost like a tune.

Can’t bear these chains of the chainsaw’s refrain,

A monster in this story, with nothing left to gain.

I’m Frankenstein in a world made of glass,

Shattered reflections of the life I can't grasp.

Unwanted and hollow, I wander alone,

A shadow of a dream in this grave I now own.

Echoes in the darkness, they whisper my name,

They say I'm the failure, a vessel of shame.

Nobody sees the scars hidden deep in my soul,

I'm a canvas of anguish, but I’m losing control.

Hope’s a forgotten word painted black on the wall,

Every breath that I take, it feels like a crawl.

Puppet of the unfeeling, and I’m bound to these strings,

A fractured creation, a lament on the wings.
