Chasing storms

Storm chasers stay away from home for weeks, away from their families, watching the skies to keep other families safe.

We thank you for keeping us safe. Giving us warning on when we should seek shelter in our safe places. We are very thankful you risk your life to keep us safe from the storms.

Driving through hail, rain, along with high winds. Barely being able to see at times through cracked glass in front of you.

Letting other chasers know what to expect when they are approaching the same storm ahead.

Sometimes getting to close without knowing what direction the tornado may turn, praying it doesn't turn in front of you.

Your wives are proud of what you do, but are concerned for your safety. Wishing you were home more often. they do understand that you are trying to keep everyone safe. Along with collecting data to get a better understanding of tornadoes.
