Walking through shadows, carrying truth in my soul

Silent wars inside me, fighting to make me whole

I'm a good man, heart aiming to heal

Loving brother, son, that's real

Genuine and generous, I give what I can

But inside I’m a storm, that I don't understand

Hatred's a fire burning deep in my soul’s core

World's pain, struggles I can't ignore

Caught in a war zone that nobody sees

In this endless battle, I wear my disguise

A caring face, but inside I cry

Got too much hate, it's a heavy load

Loving the world, but it rarely shows
