Soft evening breeze, whispering tales of old

Dawn's quiet fade, I'm swaying in the swing

Gazing where the earth and the painted sky cling

The sunset spreads its hues, a masterpiece in motion

Hoping I can hold this fleeting moment, feel its emotion

But as the daylight dips, shadows start to grow
