Face gone blank, I don’t feel nothin’

Woke up in a daze, ash in my throat

Hands full of pills, soul tied in a rope

Backseat ghost in a blacked-out Benz

Five tabs in, I forgot who I am

Devil in my ear sayin’, “One more dose”

I just nod, let it ride, let it drag me close

No pulse, no light, no fear

Staring at the sky with a flat-line leer

I don’t cry, I just rot through the year

Buried in the smoke, can’t see, can’t steer

Silver chains, dead weight, I don’t elevate

I just levitate through the void when it resonates

Blood on the leaves and my boots in the grave

If I said I was fine, I was lyin’ to your face

I been sleepin’ with the scythe, writin’ poems in a curse

They all smile in my face, but it only makes it worse

Coffin in the trunk, just in case I need a bed

I been textin’ death back, “Seen” — left on read

No pulse, no light, no fear

Black lungs burnin’, but my mind stay clear

I don’t fight, I don’t beg, I just wait

Death don’t knock — it just slides through the gate
