Sunrise paints the sky in hues of gold,
Another day begins, the same old story told.
We chase our dreams like phantoms in the night,
Grasping for shadows, never holding tight.
We build our empires on foundations of sand,
Ignoring the whispers of the promised land.
We seek our fortunes in the markets of greed,
But find only emptiness, a soul in need.
The wheels keep turning, the seasons come and go,
But satisfaction's a seed that refuses to grow.
We fill our lives with trinkets, cheap and grand,
But still, we're chasing the wind, across the land.
The wise and the foolish, they both meet the grave,
Leaving behind the treasures they thought they'd save.
So what's the point of all this toil and strife?
Just chasing the wind in this fleeting life.

A time to plant, a time to reap,
A time to laugh, a time to weep.
A time to build, a time to break,
A time to speak, a time to forsake.
The pendulum swings from joy to pain,
From sunshine bright to pouring rain.
A time to love, a time to hate,
A time to open, a time to close the gate.
We dance along to life's sweet song,
Sometimes right, sometimes wrong.
A time to heal, a time to wound,
A time to seek, a time to be unbound.
Embrace the seasons, let them come and go,
For in their rhythm, wisdom starts to grow.
So let us cherish every moment we're given,
A time for everything, under heaven

Under the sun, the world keeps spinning,
A carousel of souls, forever beginning.
We strive for knowledge, seek the ultimate truth,
But find only echoes of our misspent youth.
The more we learn, the more we see,
The futility of our reality.
We chase the light, but shadows grow long,
As we stumble through life, singing a mournful song.
The rich and the poor, they share the same fate,
A final curtain, sealing their estate.
The wise and the foolish, they both fade away,
Leaving behind no trace of yesterday.
So what's the meaning of this endless quest?
A fleeting moment, put to the test.
Under the sun, we search in vain,
For a purpose that will forever remain.
