Two travelers walking in the shadow of dusk
Feet kicking dirt dreams buried in dust
Their eyes low their hope’s on the brink
But a stranger appears says what do you think
The man speaks in riddles sharp as a blade
Stories of a kingdom and promises made
He broke bread like the world cracked open wide
And their hearts caught fire with Him by their side
A son with a hunger thought he'd chase the gold
Left his father's arms with a life uncontrolled
Spent it all fast on the glitter and lies
But the glitter fades quick and the soul just dies
He rehearsed his shame in the mud and the rain
But the father ran arms wide like a hurricane
No judgment no blame just a feast and a ring
A prodigal son now the heavens sing
Two roads two hearts both led astray
But grace doesn't quit it finds its way
Through the dark through the ash through the pain of the fall
Grace is the answer to call
On the road to grace where the lost are found
Where the broken rise where the chains fall down
He walks with me even when I'm blind
On the road to grace I find what's mind
The book of Luke
A whisper of hope in the shadow of the hills
Mary sang a song that the whole world feels
Lifted her voice to the heavens above
Said the lowly rise when they're touched by love
A table of kings but the crumbs will fall
The meek will eat yeah they'll have it all
She carried the weight she carried the light
Her soul magnified what was right
A man on the road saw a stranger bleed
Walked past the fear let his heart take the leed
Poured out oil wrapped the wounds tight
Mercy's the law when the world's lost sight
Nine coins clink but the tenth’s gone astray
The shepherd leaves ninety nine to light the way
And the son comes home dirt on his skin
Father says boy you were lost now you're kin
The first is last the last is first
The hungry fed no one cursed
What's thrown away He makes whole
The lost are found magnify my soul
Magnify my soul let the lost be found
Turn the broken piece into holy ground
Magnify my soul let the humble rise
Heaven meets the earth when love open eyes
The book of Luke
Walking through the streets dust on His feet
Where the broken hearts and the lost souls meet
He said love your neighbor even your foe
Turn the other cheek let compassion grow
A widow cries her son is gone
He touched the bier said rise move on
Blind man sees the leper's clean
He flips the script on what life means
He fed the five with a couple of loaves
Taught us to serve not to sit on thrones
Parables dropped like wisdom stones
Find the lost sheep bring it back home
A sinner weeps she pours her tears
He wipes the shame erases fears
Says your faith has made you whole
Healing hands they touch the soul
It's not the rich not the proud He lifts
But the humble hearts with their hands as gifts
The Healer's flow let the mercy show
Love so deep it's the seed we sow
Forgive give let the kindness grow
In the shadow of the cross we find the glow
