Dream Reaper

In a giant universe of massiveness

Deep in the dark

& Far beyond the stars

Some say, there's a man there

With an evil mind sweeper

Who, swallows souls whole, into the abyss

& goes

by the name 'dream reaper'

My mind as a kid I couldn't get rid,

Of scary things from night terror dreams

Boiling with fear, somebody's here

I Tiptoe around my bed

Don't wanna show tgmhat I'm scared

[Gasp] What was that!? Oh no! Hide Me

Otherwise,

The Dream Reaper will find me

Fear filters out the weak

The strong gain direction

Don’t flinch, don't speak! (Shhhh)

Focus adrenaline to fuel my aggression

Cos you were born from dark into the light

From the void into sight

You Made peace

With the reaper of dreams

Thats how I have no more attacks

& now the reaper has my back!

Grew up to see

There is no body

Underneath my bed

Forged into my head

Reminds me with every heartbeat,

Breathe through the panic

sweating & shaking so erratic

I dread

To look below my bed

& now, it draws my eyes, up into the sky,

& Holy shit! I was right

'bout that dark void outside

It's the place my mind is

It's the place I'll find him

Had to walk through death feel no flame

Pain's my prophet whispering my name

Speak to shadows taught to cope

Looks like peace IT'S NOT! It's false hope!

He says

Grew in the weeds of selfishness

I believed I was worthless

evolved through my pain,

So now,

My fear can only bow!

[Haunting] when it hears my name!

Be relentless don't fear

Explore further out there

The stars are alluring us

To stay curious

In all scariness, of the abyss

There's light inside the kingdom

With endless doors of life & freedom

If any stars staring back hopefully..
