I’m sitting in the silence

I’m asking you to meet me where I am

I think I should be chasing

But I forget Ive never left your hand.

Your presence overcomes me

And I bow humbly at your feet

But all I can do is praise you

and let your spirit comfort me

So I sit here in the silence and let you define my identity.

I just had to surrender to who you always knew I’d be
