Call to Avenge and Save

Saints,

hear the trumpet call:

Do not haste

to shed blood,

lest you fall into

the ditch yourselves.

Yet avenge and execute

wrath against

the evil and afraid,

for you are

the Lord's messengers

—avenge for the Saints,

God's Child within you.

Reach out your hand

to the weak and vulnerable;

it is better to save

than to let them lay away.

Be careful, prepare yourselves,

lest you fall with them

—grip the Lord,

then reach to save!

Be swift to hear,

slow to speak,

slow to wrath

—believe and live!

Use the blood of Christ

and shout like a trumpet,

showing His people

their transgressions

Avenge and execute

wrath against those

evil and afraid

—yes!,

be afraid evildoers!

But if you do good,

there's no fear!

for you are the Lord's

messengers

—avenge for the Saints,

God's Child within you

Grip the Lord and Save

Reach and stretch

out your hand;

it is better to save

than to let

them lay away.
