I believed!!!!

I prayed on knees made of stone

Silence answered me alone

Every whisper turned to screams

Faith decays in broken dreams

Ashes fall from fractured skies

Every prayer a web of lies

I clawed for light, I reached for truth

But found the void of wasted youth

Hands raised high, the sky is black

No savior comes, no turning back

Shatter me, break my mind

Crush the chains I thought divine

All I knew is torn away

In the dark, I’ll kneel and stay

Ripping, tearing, rage inside

Doubt and fury collide

Flesh and spirit, one in pain

Only fire will remain

Every hymn a hollow lie

Crosses bleed as angels die

In this void I scream your name

But the silence stays the same

Chains of doubt wrap round my soul

Dragging me down, beyond control

I walk through fire, I sink through rain

Questioning love, embracing pain
