Setbacks to Shine

Whispers in the quiet, shadows in the night

Holding on to hope, trusting in the light

Walking through the valleys, stumbling on the way

Every fallen moment, guiding where I stray

Tears may fill the hollow, doubt may seem so near

But deep within my heart, I find a voice sincere

Every closed door, a secret unlocks

Every broken piece, a new path drops

Turned around in sorrow, see the future clear

Sometimes the setbacks are what God holds dear

Because sometimes the hardest falls set the stage to rise

When we feel defeated, that’s where hope flies

Every twist, every turn, has a purpose bright

Setbacks are the doors that lead us to the light

In the silence waiting, answers start to bloom

God’s whispers in the chaos, driving out the gloom

Every trial a teacher, every loss a gain

From the ashes rises strength, washes out the pain

Every setback, a divine design

He’s weaving wonders, crossing each line
