Chains of the Abyss

Darkness binds, but restless eyes will stray

He breaks the chains, seeks the light of day

Three heads watch from the shadows deep

Guard of the abyss, secrets to keep

But hunger calls, a craving unbound

Cerberus in search, on sacred ground

Fangs and shadows, streaking the skies

A fleeting escape, from hell’s own ties

Run for the surface, chase the fading dawn

But the chains of hell, won't leave him gone

Tied to the darkness, back he falls

Cerberus’ longing, behind these walls

Lost in the whisper of ancient screams

A prisoner’s dream within nightmare’s beams

On terra’s edge, he finds his prey

Then turns his head, to hell’s cold sway

Claws on the ground, shadows in flight

Yearning for freedom, in the dying light
