Shadows whisper softly, cloaking my mind in gray

Walking through the silence, searching for a way

Dark clouds hanging heavy, over my soul so deep

Lost within the shadows, secrets I can't keep

Eyes on the horizon, but the light feels miles away

Dreams lost in the silence, hope begins to stray

Voices in my head, tell stories so unkind

Fading with the echoes, slipping from my mind

Breathing in this darkness, craving just to see

A spark of something better, longing to be free

Walking in the dark, even when the light shines near

Drowning in my thoughts, consumed by all my fears

Feeling all alone, buried under gray skies

Meet to walk alone, in this endless night

Searching for a dawn, for some kind of light

Maybe there's a reason, worth surviving all
