When I was young the only time I ever got new shoes is when my stepdad would pull a three week drunk and my mom would spend all the money before he did this would happen about 1 a year  most chaotic time of the year but was the most satisfying why ? Mom was having a struggle with his addiction and we were getting spoiled so guess I saw when bad happens good thing come from it but in reality I was young and what I wanted new shoes and fun was not all that I got now that the money has been spent and the booze ran out time to clean up , the house would take about fifty full garbage bag of beer can and whiskey bottles and perfume bottles yes perfume bottles my step dad would drink the perfume when he ran out of the booze and Money , it was always scary to go home after this all took place he looked all dehydrated and rugged not bathed in weeks and you could only imagine the smell 

blues, pop
