Walking Shadows

Walking through the shadows, lost in my mind

Searching for a piece of peace I can't seem to find

The rain's falling down, washing away my tears

Facing all this pain, chasing away my fears

But I keep holding on, to a dream I still believe

In the darkness, I find my light, my own remedy

Run free, like the wind that’s blowing wild

Stand tall, like the mountains, strong and bold

This is my story, my fight, my song

I'll keep on moving, right or wrong

Hear the heartbeat within, beating loud

Breaking all these chains, standing proud

No turning back, I’m on my way

Finding strength in each new day

So I walk these streets alone, but I’m never truly alone
