Chasing the Distant Light

Walking through the shadows, chasing distant lights

Questions in my mind, sleepless nights

But deep inside, I hear a call

A whisper telling me to stand tall

Every door I try to open gets slammed tight

Feels like I'm losing within the fight

Dreams seem far beyond my reach

A lesson I need to learn, a prayer I need to preach

Yet something keeps me standing here

A flicker of hope, conquering fear

The road's rough, but I won’t fade

Every step, a mark I've made

Why should I keep chasing this dream?

When doors keep closing, it’s an impossible scheme

But I believe in what I’ve known

The strength I’ve gained, how I’ve grown

One day I’ll look back and see

All that I’ve become, all I’ve achieved

It’s worth the fight, worth my soul

To keep reaching, to keep whole

Maybe it’s not about the end

But the courage I find again and again

Every stumble, every fall

Builds the strength to stand tall
