Up on the cliffs you built your throne

High above where the eagles roam

You said who can bring me down from here

But pride is a ladder with steps that disappear

You laughed when the city burned

Watched your brother's cries unconcerned

Thought you were untouchable stone and steel

But the truth cuts deeper than what you feel

The stars don't bow to a mountain’s peak

Your riches fade your walls grow weak

You robbed the stranger closed the gate

But justice waits and it's never late

Your wisdom failed your heroes fled

What's left when the heart turns to led

You sold out trust for a hollow crown

The higher you rise the faster you drown

You thought you'd escape the reckoning tide

But shadows run where the truth can't hide

Edom you flew too high

Wings of pride now can't deny

Fall fall down you go

The harder you climb the harder you show

Tear it down now let the truth resound

One voice in the storm shaking the ground

Got a message for the nations loud and clear

Justice is near no more hiding in fear

You stood so tall on your mountain high

Eagle's nest where the clouds reside

But the higher you climb the farther you fall

Thought you owned the sky but you lost it all

Your brothers you turned into prey

Watched them bleed as you looked away

The gates you locked the bridges you burned

Edom's pride a lesson unlearned

You laughed when the walls caved in drunk on power soaked in sin

But every crown cracks every kingdom bends

You hid in shadows thinking you'd last

But the storm rolled in skies overcast

Your riches rust your strength decays

Arrogance fades when the truth invades

The sword you drew now turned on you

The seeds you sowed they grew and grew

The feast you stole now bitter bread

Edom's glory a story dead

Pride falling hear the echoes calling

Built your throne on the edge now you're crawling

Pride's falling no one there to save

The mountain you climbed became your grave

Tear it down now let the truth resound

But Zion's light burns bright in the dark

The tables will turn the humble will rise

The meek inherit the world no surprise

You thought your might could rewrite fate

But justice knocks and it won't wait
