Christmas without you

Christmas is coming once more

Another year that you won't walk through my door

Its hard now you aren't around anymore seeing decorations in all of the stores

I smile and think of Christmas past

Thank God we have memories to last

Its starting to snow did you know

Its laying here thick around my door

Christmas tree all lit up inside

I feel sadness that I try hard to hide

I miss you so much miss the feel of your touch

Wish I could buy you a present and send it to heaven

I stand and look up to the stars

We go through the motions for the children's sake

We laugh and we play and new memories we make

They open their presents and play with their toys

Always colourful and all of that noise
