Whiskey, tequila, bourbon and rum...
Beers or wine, and illegal drugs of any kind....
Seem like the best answer for some...
But too much of either, destroys the mind...

Being clean and sober I have peace of mind...
Amends must be made... and apologies said....
My pain and addiction, I have left behind!..

Hearing about your actions you truly regret...
Waking up to a world with no peace of mind....
You blacked out again... you didn't... just forget....

We're pushed to beleive booze is how we connect...
When in fact it is harmful that love can be blind...
