Bible Truths Not Taught. Why?

They stand up front and speak in polished tones

But skip the parts that shake the comfort zones

They turn the Word to something safe and mild

And leave out truths that once ran deep and wild

They learned from books that question what is real

So now the truth is something they can’t feel

They call it “old” or say it’s just a sign

While clearer words get left there in the line
