Lights flash in the rearview mirror, a shadow in the night,

Racing down these empty streets, no wrong, just trying to fight.

Adrenaline is pumping, heart's a raging storm,

They’re chasing down a memory, but I’m just trying to stay warm.

Cruising down the boulevard, life’s a blur around,

But they painted me a criminal, got no truth to be found.

Just a man on the run, with a story to tell,

In a world that’s screaming justice, but we're trapped inside a cell.

They see the color of my skin, not the man that I am,

Got me running for my freedom, but I’m still a decent man.

High speed chase, through the city's heart,

Innocent bystander, can't tell us apart.

Racing from the shadows of a broken system's trust,

Hold on, I'm just a player who’s caught in the rush.

Windows down, wind in my face, got dreams I can't chase,

But they’re hunting me like prey, while I’m fighting for my place.

Echoes of sirens wail, haunting every turn,

A life painted unjustly, in the fires of my own burning hell.

They see the color of my skin, not the man that I am,
