Guided by JEHOVAH's Hand

Men came from a land so far,
Following what seemed a star.
Seeking one foretold to reign,
Born to bring all hearts new gain.

Herod heard and felt alarm,
Feared the child might bring him harm.
“Go and find him,” he would say,
But deceit was in his way.

His word goes forth—it never fails,
Through storm or night, His truth prevails.

To Bethlehem the bright sign led,
Where Mary cradled Jesus’ head.
The travelers bowed, their treasures gave,
To God’s Son sent forth to save.

But this “star” had no divine source,
It lured them by a cunning course.

And helped them flee from Herod’s sight.
