Touching base with the community

Ain’t gonna lie ima be real with ya’ll, I really do enjoy listening to different styles, pov’s, and artistic expressions. I’ve been a song writer for as long as I can remember, since middle school scribbling bars in my notebook. Since then my interest and taste in music has expanded into multiple realms and genres. Regardless tho of how much experience I have writing in different genres, I can still admit I have a lot to learn in regard to song writing. Since I recently discovered this app it’s like being a kid in a candy store. The possibilities are endless, and the chances of not only learning new ways to write songs, but also show others how they can also do it, drives me. Recently I did take a brief hiatus cuz I was actually working on another music project with the homies in the studio. (Yeah I actually go to studios and make songs) When I was scrolling thru my feed and heard world patterns come at me, and I admit I did get heated and kinda went for the jugular. My bad G, but yeah I don’t like when people question my penmanship, cuz I really do spend hours, days, weeks, and long nights working on my craft. I do admit that he came hard too, just not as hard as me. So as for that I’m willing to let bygones be bygones and put that shit aside. As for working together on anything ion know bout that cuz I got my own plans for shit that I’m doing IRL. But I do appreciate him putting my shit in his playlists. I ain’t gonna diss him going forward but I will come at whoever comes at me. When I first got on here, I wanted to set the tone for what I do and be inclusive with other artists and maybe build a community or sum shit. Might be corny but ion know I kinda feel like that it might be kinda dope to have yall chime in and actually discuss shit and maybe help others learn how I go about building out songs too. Cuz to me music is connection, something that brings people together, whether that be the hype of hip hop and rap, the rock anthems that has people break out in mosh pits, or that one song that heals broken hearts. To me it’s all connected, so I was thinking about starting a discord community of Zona artists so y’all can link up and maybe have rap battles (friendly this time) or discuss song writing techniques, or collaborations on projects. I really do think this could work but lemme know if that’s something u interested in. I’ll work on building one and put the link to it in my bio. Till then stay tuned for updates Zona fam. 🙏🏼✌️

Also quick shoutout to @blackrevive cuz ain’t gonna lie in my recent song “somebody pray for me” I kinda used the mothership bar from him cuz ain’t gonna lie that shit go hard and I wanted to repurpose it. That’s one instance where I can admit that I bit. But yeah thanks black revive for inspiring that bar.
