Angel

Angel stands so tall and confident by my side

She is my protector against any and all

Together, we are a perfect team

Her eyes so deep, with joy they beam

Her snow-white fur glows in the moons light

Guarding the family all through the night

She is a gentle giant greeting all who come by

A happy wagging tail for the friendly you see

And a deep, loud bark for the perceived enemy

Announcing danger is nearby

She loves to cuddle with me in the bed

I feel her heartbeat, so comforting to me

When shadows creep and demons call

She always stands firm and tall

Paws so heavy on the ground she treads

But so gentle in my hand when she sleeps

Angel is my rock in the darkest storm

Comfort found in her giant arms so warm

So gentle and nurturing to God's smallest creatures

A protector to them all

A better breed you'll never find

Then the Great Pyrenees, so gentle and kind
