I’ve been low, I’ve been lost

But I’m not running anymore

I confess it, I’m a sinner with a stained white robe

Heart full of pride, envy whispering in my soul

Lust in the night, greed in the glittering gold

Wrath in my chest when the world turn cold

Sloth had me sleeping on the life I was shown

Glutton for attention, never feeling whole

Seven shadows marching when I’m alone

And I hear that serpent on a borrowed throne

But I’m done bowing down to the lies I fed

Done making peace with the living dead

I fall to my knees, lift my head instead

Calling Your Name with the tears I bled

Yahweh, breathe in my lungs again

Yeshua, cover my broken skin

I don’t deserve it but I’m asking in faith

Forge me in mercy, set me ablaze

Put Your holy flame armor on me

Let it burn every chain that’s on me

I’m a sinner but I’m choosing the fight

With Your fire I’ll step in the night

Raise my sword in the name of love

Heaven’s power falling from above

For the lost, for the weak, I’ll stand

But ruthless to the dark that commands

Lucifer marching with his army of lies

Crown made of ego and counterfeit light

He feeds on the fear in the children’s eyes

Twists every truth, makes wrong feel right

But I’ve seen the cross cut through the haze

Heard resurrection in a sinner’s praise

Grace like thunder breaking the cage

Turning my weakness into holy rage

I don’t fight flesh, I don’t fight blood

I fight the chains in my own corrupt

Every temptation dressed like love

But I choose the fire from above

Yahweh, steady my trembling hand

Yeshua, help me to understand

But no mercy for the works of the dark
