Rollin' down the highway, sunset on my side

Got my kids in the backseat, and my wife’s sweet smile

Life's a long road, but I keep ‘er rollin’ on

Flatbed my city, till the work is gone

Early mornings, fuelin’ up that old rig

Thinking ‘bout my loved ones, tight as a twig

Kids’ laughter echo in my mind’s eye

Wife’s warm hug keeps the cold nights from my sky

Paper miles and tire tracks, stories I could tell

Every dawn’s a promise, every night’s a farewell

Country roads and stories, that’s what I cherish most
