Up awake in the dead of night

My heart racing circulation so tight

Took some meds got lost in a spell

Grabbed my keys let’s drive to Hell

Racing down the highway not taking any turns

No left, right, left, right the adrenaline burns

I feel so empty, yet full of energy

All from a pill that made me high

I am beaten, abused, broken

Defeated, used, seen as a token
