Good news! Armageddon

This wicked world's end is drawing near,
Jehovah’s Witnesses have made it clear.
The world stands quiet, the heavens cry—
The storm of vengeance fills the sky.

“Peace and security!” the nations cry,
But Jehovah’s judgment is drawing by.
Good news for those who know God’s power,
The nations will know Jehovah in that hour.

Armageddon will bring good news.
Jehovah’s Kingdom breaks right through.
All who know God and trust his Son
Will live in peace when the war is done.

Babylon the Great will fall down.
Her lying throne will lose its crown.
The horns will strip her, burn her pride.
Her boast and beauty fade and die.

Gog of Maygog will storm the land.
He trusts in guns and human hands.
Jehovah sets a snare so tight,
Gog learns he’s fighting Heaven’s might.

Armageddon will bring good news.

All who know God and trust his Son
Will live in peace when the war is done.

We never trust in human power.
Jehovah shields us in that hour.
Christ rides in truth, a King so brave.
His sword will strike, his sheep he’ll save.

To be saved then, we must know God,
And follow paths that Jesus trod.
We preach the Kingdom, this we know. 
Doing God's will is what we show.

When doubts arise and faith feels small,
I’ll trust Jehovah through it all.
His mighty hand will make me strong,
His spirit lifts my heart in song.

Though men may hate and mock my stand,
Jehovah holds me by the hand.
Their scorn can never steal my cheer,
For God’s own Kingdom draws so near.

Jehovah guides us through the night.

We pray and study every day.
We serve Jehovah, come what may.
When that last battle’s finally done,
We’ll praise Jehovah and his Son.
