This time it's the strength to get up & fight

For your guys love to survive

Give your tears to your soul to drink when they need

Clarity from the fear your mind breeds

like a fire needing another log to burn

to refuel so it can regain the power it needs

The more you feed it the stronger it is on return

She feels blame guilt & sorrow

her heartache shows her shadow of disconnection

but she will see, she does see - she just needs your love to guide her back into a safe place, she needs your protection

Thats what she sees in you

So remind yourself her Pain isnt yours to burden its hers to do

Cos that Pain you didnt cause

You were her choice, the man she wanted to help you with yours

Cos then maybe you'd help her too

You do yours she'll do hers maybe thats how you can make it through

if you could let her, she would have let you

Thats how you lead, not with a job or money just love & truth

a heart full of rocks is heavy to bare

by yourself or even with someone else there

Poison has a cure if you dont give into the fear

Cos thats how you drown faster in your despair

No ocean consumes a man who's willing to see
