A silent war inside, each day a different mighty fight

Battles deep within, scars hidden in my soul

Lost in endless night, trying to regain control

Fighting with my demons, shadows stealing light

Despising the darkness, seeking dawn in the distant sight

But I refuse to fall, I’ll break these chains

Rise from the ashes, face my pain

Every scar a story, every tear a fight

Standing tall, embracing the night

This is my mentality, my war inside

Hate and love, the tears I hide

But I’m learning to stand, to face my fears

To fight my battles, shedding tears

Within this chaos, I find my strength

Building a fortress, no matter the length

Starting to believe, starting to see

That I can break free, be the best of me

So here I go, no more hiding away

Walking through the storm, into the day

My mind’s a battlefield, but I’m taking back my control

As I’m standing tall, fulfilling my whole soul.
