Echoes of rain, shadows fall, whispers call

Memories linger through it all

In the distance, clouds gather tight, swirling stories in the sky

Here I stand in fading light, searching for the reasons why

Gleaming sun slips away, dark clouds are rising high

The universe begins to sway, as I hold my tears inside

Rain starts falling, heavy on my soul

Tears blending, trying to console
