True Motivation

Its easy to wonder if things took a turn
Things seem tentative while the climate does burn
Five years ago a pandemic shut it all down
Now we witness tyranny and corruption from our elected clown
There doesn't seem to be a path back to what we had
This dark cloud of doom seems to be more than a fad 
Stand tall for one another dont give up on hope 
Be kind be caring be ready to extend a life saving rope
Don't judge or malign especially due to race
Replace hate with love fear with trust and place a smile on your beautiful face
Together we must build up our trust
Let's elevate our expectation returning decency to our nation
Let us love one another accepting others as sister and brother
Compassion for those forced to flee they're not a criminal but a true refugee
We fear and loath the act of immigration
Yet its the heart soul  and builder of this nation 
Tuning in the news station buying lies and sensation an infatuation with degradation there is no rational explanation for the defemation exploitation dehumanization of an innocent creation the motivation to be the source of devastation with no regret or hesitation in the age of information watching truth fall to desecration no end to confrontation an evil escalation a wicked elevation an ugly transformation of our once mighty nation
