The Devourer of Light

The moon bleeds red across the sky,

A cursed dawn begins to die.

The bells of death, they start to ring,

Awakening the shadows king.

In cathedrals drowned in flame,

He whispers every mortal’s name.

A thousand souls to feed his might,

The devourer of holy light.

Chains of the fallen, breaking the seal,

Darkness ascends, the blood becomes real.

I am the night eternal, the silence before the storm,

The serpent in the chapel, where innocence is torn.

From ashes I am risen, to slaughter the divine,

The devourer of light — your soul will be mine.

The cross is cracked, the candles fade,

The hunters fall, their price is paid.

In shadows deep, I take my throne,

The world decays, I claim my own.

The choir screams, a twisted hymn,

The holy fade, the dark begins.

A requiem for dying sight,

I feast upon the last of light.

Crimson rivers, flood the gate,

No mercy left, too late, too late.
