From the scroll of Zephaniah a prophet did rise
Speaking truth in the land as the people closed their eyes 
The day of the Lord is heavy thunder in the sky
Judgment on the earth as the wicked wonder why 
The cities crumble with the pride of their ways
Those who trusted idols see the end of their days
The nations shake trembling under his might
The Lord's justice burns brighter than the night 
A remnant is promised a people refined
Through the fiery trials with heart redefined
Humble and lowly who call on his name 
Their joy restored no more guilt or shame 
Oh daughter of Zion shout aloud and sing
The Lord is with you the eternal King 
No more enemies no need for despair 
Lift up your head he's already there
Turn back now while there's still time to breathe
A righteous call for the faithful to believe 
Break those chains let your spirit be alive
In this shadow world only the faithful strive 
Yo check the scrolls the prophet speaks loud
Zephaniah hits the crowd no room for the proud
Judgment rides in like a storm from the sea
This is your wake up don't you wait and flee
City of rebels drowning in their lies
Ignored the warnings kept their blinded eyes
Yet the remnants their hidden in his grace 
The day of the Lord isn't time to chase
Seek what's true before it's too late
Justice rolls and it's breaking the gates
The meek inherit when it all goes down
Find shelter in the word the solid crown
Songs of joy for the nations restored
Fear turned to hope lifted by the Lord 
He quiets the storm with his endless love
A king that rejoices from his throne above 
The fires gonna burn all the wrong all the fake
The humbles gonna rise for the Holy one's sake
The faithful stand tall they won't be erased
