Dear Lord

Lord, I"m struggling down here.
I"m feeling overwhelmed and full of fear.
It seems my life is such a mess,
All of my sins I do confess.
I need your forgiveness, please.
I need all these tears to cease.
Lord I can"t sleep at night,
I"m always worrying about what isn"t right,
Lord will you lift all my anxiety and fear?
Would you bless me with peace down here?
Would you watch over me at night,
Take all the monsters out of my sight,
Hold me in your arms and give me peace? 
Dear Lord, I need you now to make it all cease.
I"m at the end of my rope, holding on by a string,
Oh, how I"d love to hear your beautiful angels sing.
I give my life to you,
And all my fears too.
Bless me dear lord with your grace,
Cleanse my soul and walk with me through this place.
Dear lord, please accept me as your child,
And help me to take one day at a time.
