Prompt / Lyrics
In Nineveh's shadow, Tobit once stood tall, A righteous man, now stumbling, 'fore a fall. Blindness descends, a veil upon his eyes, Yet in his heart, faith never truly dies. Sarah in Ecbatana, her spirit torn, Seven grooms lost, each hope a rising morn. A demon's curse, a shadow on her soul, Despair surrounds, taking its heavy toll. Though darkness reigns, and trials test their might, Their faith unwavering, a beacon in the night. They cry to God, their voices filled with pain, Trusting in His mercy, they shall rise again. Through trials and darkness, faith lights the way, God's intervention shines, brighter than the day. Like Tobit and Sarah, may we never cease, To trust in His mercy, and find lasting peace. Young Tobiah sets forth, a journey's call, To distant lands, where fortunes rise and fall. With heavy heart, he bids his father's side, Guided by Raphael, his angel in disguise. Through treacherous paths, and rivers deep and wide, They face the unknown, with courage as their guide. A monstrous fish, a danger in the stream, But Raphael's wisdom turns it to redeem. Challenges arise, testing Tobiah's will, Yet Raphael's counsel helps him stand still. He learns of love, and battles fear and doubt, With faith as armor, he will conquer, no doubt. Through trials and darkness, faith lights the way, God's intervention shines, brighter than the day. Like Tobit and Sarah, may we never cease, To trust in His mercy, and find lasting peace. Back in Nineveh, Tobit waits in gloom, While Sarah prays, dispelling all the doom. Tobiah returns, with angel by his side, A remedy of fish gall, where hope can't hide. He touches Tobit's eyes, a gentle grace, The blindness fades, revealing Tobit's face. In Ecbatana, incense fills the air, Raphael binds the demon, answering Sarah's prayer. Miracles unfold, by God's divine command, Restoring hope, throughout the weary land. Tobit can see, Sarah is free from pain, Their faith rewarded, they rise to life again. Through trials and darkness, faith lights the way, God's intervention shines, brighter than the day. Like Tobit and Sarah, may we never cease, To trust in His mercy, and find lasting peace.
