You said I'd play victim again, you said id play the part well, I sure didn't know when I landed this part now, I'd be dragging my feet long behind me, my head hanging so low you never can find me, and if it's my fault feel free to remind me, I'd be surprised if I remember it at all now, not to say I forgot your face or the addictive way the smell of you touches all of my senses this emptiness seemed forever endless until I met you, id never be able to ever forget you, for all the times I ever got mad at you, I was hating myself, owning the truth never got me any sympathy, in fact it got my ass beat harder, the silence that follows never entertained a single ear here, it's loud but it's rancid with a stench in itself, self pity being the only note it ever knew the story well enough to tell it now, its so far out it can't even reach itself, let alone touch the shore, it's aimlessly floating through ages of the same pages it never seems to let up.
